Introducing Superlift's Lift Force Powertrain Warranty

Introducing Superlift's Lift Force Powertrain Warranty

Superlift has just launched a new Lift Force Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty for all those who have purchased and installed a Superlift lift kit or leveling kit on or after July 2019. The warranty would go into effect if and when the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or OEM dealership denies your drivetrain warranty claim because you installed one of our kits on your vehicle. Trucks and large vehicles make up their fair share of OEM warranty claims, so it’s important to understand how these warranties work and what exclusions may apply.

OEM manufacturers are often unfamiliar with aftermarket suspension systems and modifications, and our new Lift Force Warranty is designed to protect your vehicle if a dispute arises. The warranty is free and comes with the purchase of any Superlift lift kit or leveling kit. Learn more about how this new aftermarket warranty works and why it’s essential for your vehicle.

What Does the Lift Force Warranty Cover?

If you purchase a Superlift lift kit or leveling kit, and you installed the kit on or after July 2019, you are eligible for the Lift Force Warranty as long as you installed the kit according to Superlift’s written instructions and the kit was recommended for your vehicle’s specific make and model. Once you’ve installed the kit, there’s a chance your OEM may deny your drive train warranty claim due to the installation of one of our kits. In this case, Superlift’s Lift Force Warranty would come into play if you had registered for this free coverage.

Covered Components include the following equipment:

  • ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts, oil pumps, timing belt, chain, water pump, manifolds, harmonics balancer, engine mounts, turbocharger housing, internal parts, and vanes. Note: Cases, housings, engine block, and cylinder heads are only covered if they were damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.
  • AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE: All internally lubricated parts, torque convertor, and vacuum modulator.
  • MANUAL TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE: All internally lubricated parts. It does not include items such as pressure plate, clutch, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing or bushing, clutch master, and slave cylinders or bellhousing.
  • FRONT DRIVELINE: All internally lubricated parts, drive shafts, axle shafts, carrier bearings, u-joints, constant velocity joints, and front hub bearings
  • REAR DRIVELINE: All internally lubricated parts, drive shafts, axle shafts, and wheel bearings, carrier bearings, and u-joints.

To qualify, all covered components must still be under warranty from the OEM. The OEM will also need to deny your claim and prove the installation. The kit also needs to be installed on a vehicle that was first sold, registered and used in the U.S. or Canada. Your vehicle also needs to be maintained according to OEM service recommendations, and your Superlift lift kit or leveling kit will need to be maintained according to recommendations applicable to the owner’s use.

Coverage begins with the installation of the Superlift lift kit or leveling kit and ends when the OEM drivetrain warranty expires, the vehicle reaches 60,000 miles on the odometer, or five years after the purchase date of the vehicle.

Registering Your Vehicle

Before you file a claim, you’ll need to register your vehicle with Superlift, your exclusive warrantor for the Lift Force Powertrain Warranty. Visit our website to register online. You’ll need to include your contact information and details about the lift kit or leveling kit, including when it was purchased and installed and by whom. You’ll also need to upload three images as proof of purchase, including receipts and images of the kit itself.

How to File a Claim

If the OEM denies your drivetrain warranty due to the installation of one of our kits, you’ll need to file a claim with Superlift, LLC.
